Fed up? Try Thredup!

Are you a parent with a boatload of outgrown kids clothes and you keep meaning to call the consignment shop to make an appointment?

Well, there’s no need to call!  Let the consignment shop come to YOU!

Thredup.com is an online consignment shop that accepts kids clothing that is in really great shape.  They sell it and you make money!

This is how it works.  You go to the website and order a bag – you pay a $4.95 deposit fee for the bag, but that is refunded once they receive your stuff.  If you order items from the website, this deposit is waived. You fill the bag to the brim with clothing that is in great shape (they have a list of guidelines that are super easy to follow) and then you send the bag back (shipping is included! How awesome is that?).  They go through your stuff and determine how much it is worth and pay you either by Paypal or they give you a credit to shop at the Thredup store.

I just got my bag yesterday and I am thrilled by how big it is!  I have been meaning to take the totes full of kids clothes that I have been collecting to the consignment shop but now that I know about Thredup, I don’t need to!

Check it out!  Now is a great time to get rid of some of the old stuff to make room for the holiday haul that will inevitably need to fill the drawers back up!

Let me know how you do!
